Hi, long time Star Wars fan. I have decided that I am going to build a phase 1 animated clone trooper grunt. This is going to be my first set of armor that I’ve ever done so I could really use some help. I have already joined the clone trooper detachment forum but anyone with experience building armor nearby I would love to hear from

I don't have experience building armor, but there are plenty of others that can give you tips and show you trimming tricks. You should definitely try to attend a build party! Those are the best events for some hands-on learning with other members. Depending on how far you can travel there are two being planned:

• April 2nd in Canonsburg, PA

• Date TBD (April) in Kearneysville, WV that James Welsh mentioned hosting

There will definitely be others as people express interest in them.
